North Northumberland has been a black hole on the European Parliament's information leaflets, with nothing on the map between Morpeth and Berwick - until now.
The most glaring omission was Alnwick - despite it being a major tourist attraction and voted the most attractive place to live in Britain.
Liberal Democrat MEP Fiona Hall complained to the European Parliament information department and they are now re-printing the leaflet.
Said Fiona Hall:
"Officials have assured me that Coldstream, Wooler, Alnwick, Rothbury, Amble, Longframlington and Otterburn will all appear in the new edition.
"I'm delighted that North Northumberland towns and villages will now be well and truly on the map."
