NORTH EAST EURO MP LAUNCHES REGIONAL OFFICE

Fiona Hall, Liberal Democrat MEP for the North East, celebrated the official opening of her regional office on Friday. The ceremony was performed by the Rt. Hon. Alan Beith MP, Member of Parliament for Berwick-upon-Tweed
The office in Durham is Fiona's official base in the North East, and constituents are welcome to visit. Fiona is in the region every week, and anyone can make an appointment to meet with her, to discuss matters they wish to bring to her attention.

Ms. Hall said:
'I am delighted that my regional office is now officially open. I hope that constituents will take advantage of the service we are now able to offer.
'In a region of this size, no location is ideal for everyone, but by setting up in Durham we are reasonably accessible to most people in the North East.
'Every week, I am travelling to different parts of my constituency, and I hope that people will be able to meet with me in their local area, if they are not able to visit the office in Durham.'
